Watup kids we hope everybody’s been truly enjoying summertime. In one of our recent posts, we hinted at the idea that the west coast was gonna be seeing a lot more PS in the coming months. Sure enough, and as promised, we present to you one of our first big LA appearances: tomorrow, Thursday July 15 we’ll have the pleasure of opening up for UK’s own LA ROUX at one of LA’s best, Club Nokia. As much as we’d love to push this one out to all of our LA peeps, this show is already SOLD OUT so if you got your tix we hope your ready to get loose with us as we take over the one’s and two’s before one of todays’ finer artists destroys Los Angeles with her groove. PS + La Roux at Club Nokia

So summertime is in full swing and if you’ve been living in Miami for the past weeks we certainly hope you haven’t suffered a heat-stroke. We’ve got updates on upcoming shows but first want to tell you bout  PS’s Isaac, who’s begun interning for big bad AEG Live/ Goldenvoice in their LA offices for the summer  which means you west-coasters better be on the lookout for secret shows and top billings featuring PS all summer long! With 4th of July around the corner, PS is coming back home to MIA and here’s our picks of  where you should be this holiday weekend. We kick it off friday with a DJ set at Cafeina, followed by a soul shakedown saturday night  featuring D.I.M. of Boys Noize Records at The Electric Pickle. Also with us that night will be newly united duo TKO, made up of Miami legends Troy Kurtz and Damaged Goods. As anyone who’s found themselves at the pickle, drenched, at 7:23am on a sunday would know, this’ll be one of the great’s. Party kicks off at 10.

Last but not least, sunday night, we’ll be taking over for our annual 4th of July party at Rokbar. This year we’ll be playing alongside  Santiago Caballero and the very sexy Tamara Sky, recently voted by New Times as Miami’s best DJ. Who wants to set Rok on fire… Doors at 11.

This sunday June 13, 2010, Miami will have the pleasure of welcoming back our dear friends PASSION PIT for a live show at the Fillmore. The band will perform live during the evening along with Tokyo Police Club for what’s sure to be one of the best shows to ever hit the Jackie Gleason Theatre. Later that night, we’ll be sharing the DJ booth with Ayad, Jeff, Nate and TroyKurtz!  for the official PPIT afterparty at Miami’s newest hot spot: Coco de Ville. The club is minutes from the venue but capacity is limited so make sure you RSVP here. Needless to say we’re very excited to have the Pit back in town after our dizzying experience with them at the WMC Safehouse- and so should you.
