Super happy to announce that this Friday dec 23rd  PS will return to one of the greatest of the  Miami superclubs: MOKAI.  Pirate Stereo will take over the one’s & two’s  for WEEKEND WARRIOR -Mokai’s legendary friday party. 2011 has been an amazing year for music. Among the many fine artists that have emerged this year, two have really stood out for me the most: Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs and The Magician. I first met TEED during WMC of last year, I watched him play an excellent set at the 11:11 building on Lincoln Rd and was immediately hooked. It’s rare to watch an artist and hear the music for the first time and become instantly enthralled – TEED, and his music, have the power to do just that. The Magician is Stephen Fassano, a very nice gentleman from Belgium who used to be one half of Aeroplane. I met Stephen in April of last year in Mexico City when we shared the bill at Rhodesia. As a musician, I’d have to say The Magician has been one of my greatest influences, and giving his popularity at the moment, I’m sure I’m not the only one. It gives me the absolute greatest pleasure to present these two groundbreaking artists together in one of the most intimate venues Miami has to offer, on November 3rd 2011, catch TEED + The Magician with PS and Laura (Of Miami) at BARDOT.  Tix moving super fast GET EM HERE.

I first caught on to MICKEY through his remix of ‘Die on the Dancefloor,’ which was featured on one of The Magician’s infamous tapes last spring. He re-appeared on Magic Tape 11 with the destroyer : ‘Mr Overtime’  -a dance floor heater that is one of the most  addictive tracks out there -peep the PREVIEW. He’s been named one of Belgiums top 10 DJ’s and with support from the likes of Kitsune Maison, The Magician, Aeroplane, House Da Rackett, and Punks Jump Up, it won’t be long before MICKEY blows up. It gives me great pleasure to present two chances to catch him tear it up for us this weekend in Miami.
